Abby was so excited today because I had asked the nurse it she could touch you. So as I kangaroo'd you she washed up and touched the top of your head and then on your back. She was so loving in her facial expressions and her touches. She loves you so much. She kept touching you for a while...then the boys wanted to touch you too. I had them wash up and directed them to where they could touch. Then we had to get them away because they were being a little too pushy.
Abby put her hand on your head and prayed a very, very sweet prayer for you. It was quite long and thoughtful and with a childlike innocence in her sweet, soft voice. She prayed for all your little body parts from your brain to your lungs to your heart...for strength and courage and the ability to overcome. She loves you little, little brother.
